Mark Johnson
MARK JOHNSON designs and builds sculpture and furniture. A Licensed California Architect, Mark was born and raised in Detroit, which explains why he talks incessantly about cars. He received a B.S. in Architecture from St. Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, and an M.A. in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCIArc) in Los Angeles. He has worked at a variety of Los Angeles architectural firms, including Perkins and Will, Morphosis, Corsini Stark Architects, Paul Davis Architects, and West Edge Architects. Mark taught in the Environmental Design department at Otis College of Art and Design for five years, and presently teaches at UCLA in the Landscape Architecture and Interior Architecture Departments.
