Julie Brookman
“I've long been drawn to the sea. It is permanent, but always changing. Never the same, but always there. The act of seeing the sea is the act of remembering it for what it was.”
Born in California, JULIE BROOKMAN has spent her life by the sea, even having once worked as a dive instructor in Southeast Asia. She graduated with honors from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with an emphasis in Photography; she also worked extensively with hot glass and sculpture. Her work has been shown throughout California and across the United States. She currently lives and works in Montara, California.
